Business Associate Scheme

A) Who is a Business Associate?

In today’s times, franchising has emerged as a most profitable business format for both Corporates / Enterprises, with leading companies considering franchising their products & services,

A franchisee is an individual or enterprise who can become a successful entrepreneur by cashing on the strengths of the franchisor and grow along with it. We at Aarya Logistics Solutions Pvt. Ltd. call such Franchisee as Business Associate.

B) Types of Business Associates:

Depending upon the needs of the Business Operations of the Company various types of Business Associates may be appointed as follows:

    1. Regional Business Associate [RBA]: For one full state or major part of a state – like Western Maharashtra
    RBA shall work under Head Office of the Company
    2. Area Business Associate [ABA]: For one major area of a state- like Pune District, Nashik District
    ABA shall work under a RBA or directly under Head Office if no RBA is appointed in the state
    3. City Business Associate [CBA}: For one city or area within/outskirt of a city or small towns in the district.- like Vidisha near Bhopal.
    CBA shall work under ABA or directly under Head Office – like CBA in Vasai near Mumbai- where no RBA is appointed
C) Business Associate’s Responsibilities:
    1. The Business Associate of Aarya Logistics Solutions Pvt. Ltd. will act as an autonomous unit in the allotted area/s operating under the name and style of “Authorized Business Associate-Aarya Logistics Solutions Pvt. Ltd.” and will be responsible for the relevant facets of a complete business operation for Domestic Cargo and International Courier & Cargo Services i.e. as desired by and under the guidance of the Company. The Business Associate will have both marketing and an operation setup including running of owned/hired vehicles. The cost of such setup will be Business Associate’s responsibility.
    2. The Business Associate will be responsible for pickup of parcels from the customers’ premises, packing of the same, documenting and forwarding the cargo to the nearest Hub/Offices (using our organized facility) at own cost. The Business Associate will also deliver the inbound parcels/cargo from various destinations.
    3. All operational stationery i.e. Consignment Notes [Con Notes], have to be standardized. . Hence, Business Associate will be supplied with such Con Notes at cost.
    4. The Business Associate will have to prepare documentation/maintain records in the formats prescribed by the Company, who will ensure the necessary training to his/her personnel.
    5. The Business Associate will display the Company’s name board outside his office -which will be as per design/specifications of the Company.
D) Support from the Company:
    1. Business Associate’s name & other details will be included in all India marketing & publicity campaigns.
    Company will provide to the Business Associate the local business benefit of the national/international contracts.
    3. Adequate training in cargo operation will be given on an ongoing basis to Business Associate & his staff.
    4. Business Associate will be provided with Company’s web based software at minimal cost for tracking/billing of clients’ consignments.
    5. The Company will also provide Mobile App linked to the web based software to be used by Field Representatives for immediate updating of the delivery details. This will also be given at minimal cost.
    6. Both the above i.e. No.4 & 5 will be mandatory requirement.
E) Business Associate’s Earning/ Expenses:

The Business Associate’s earnings will around 20 % of the gross sales after taking into account all costs at his end viz. salaries, stationery, telephones, conveyance, transportation charges & sundries. This earning % can be higher depending upon Business Associate’s capabilities & actual efforts in marketing.

Mutual Delivery/Pickup Charges: These will be explained at the time of personal meeting or sent by mail on request.

F) Security Deposit:
    1. Before signing up of the necessary contract [which will be generally for a minimum period of 3 years], the Business Associate will have to pay interest free security deposit or furnish bank guarantee to the Company as follows:
    A] City Business Associate: Rs. 20000/-
    B] Area Business Associate: Rs. 50000/-
    C] Regional Business Associate: Rs.100000/-

    However, the exact amount of this deposit/guarantee will depend on the office location, allocated area of operation & potential business volume.
    2. This security deposit/ bank guarantee will be refunded or surrendered to the Business Associate upon expiry of the Contract or earlier termination of the same (subject to two months’ notice by the Business Associate/Company or without any notice by the Company for breach of terms of the contract)- but not before mutual settlement of the accounts is completed.
